Despite the snow that fell yesterday, I think we've progressed from winter to spring.... AKA break-up here in the far north. And that means lots of sunshine, warmer temperatures, and lots of puddles. Last year, we enjoyed going for what we called our puddle walks.
Today, we ventured out on our first puddle walk of 2010. Madalyn was quite excited to go on the walk and also try out her new pink boots.
Absolutely no hesitation, she went straight into puddles...
....and enjoyed every moment of it...
...and was just full of smiles.
I loved how cute her hair looked in braids today.
She was ready to start heading home since she was a bit chilly (couldn't be from the wet pants from splashing around so much).
But as we started home, she remembered the ducks from last spring/summer and wanted to see if they were around yet. Amazing that she can remember something from when she was only 18 months old. Unfortunately, she fell in a puddle and got even more wet and dirty so we decided to go straight home and take a bubble bath. She kept telling me that she fell down and is all dirty.
