The three of us went to two Mardi Gras parades... one on Friday night in Louisana, and the other was on Saturday in Pensacola. First time for both Madalyn and I. Madalyn made out like a bandit.... tons of beads, a few snacks and candy, and some stuffed animals (because she doesn't have fifty million of those already!). Beautiful weather, fun times, good company.
We ended the weekend with Mardi Gras inspired cuisine. Jambalaya for dinner and a King cake for dessert. John got a kick out of finding the baby Jesus (who happened to look a lot like a squinkie of one of the seven dwarfs).
