Yesterday, we went to a garden festival in Palmer. One of the booths was from a local farm, and they had a story they read to the kids. And then the kids got six farm bucks to shop at their stand. Madalyn picked out cherry tomatoes, potatoes, garlic, a turnip, the biggest zucchini she could find, and a kohlrabi. And today, we made vegetable soup (plus we added in some of our own veggies, chic peas, and pasta). YUM!
