Homemade playdough
we made peppermint playdough and Madalyn had a ball playing with it (and smelling it!)... she enjoyed using her Christmas themed cookie cutters, and she practiced using her scissors to cut her playdough as well
Beading
Madalyn enjoyed beading with her special holiday items and beads and jingle bells
Cutting
lots of cutting again this week, she enjoyed getting to cut wrapping paper
Stickers
Stickers are always a huge favorite. Madalyn enjoyed all the fun Christmas and winter foam and regular stickers. And she had fun matching up the letters for her name using red and green foam letters.
Pouring/Spooning
spooning with different spoons, and then pouring red colored rice from one container to the next
Transferring
plastic tweezers, kid's chopsticks, and smallish cooking tongs were used for this transferring activity (they are also often used when Madalyn uses her sensory tub)
Another sticker activity
create your own holiday cards with stickers, Madalyn loves these (I need to find some more of these because these were our last ones, Target had them last year and I picked them up after Christmas on clearance, there's nothing at all this year even somewhat crafty)
Gluing
Madalyn used the glue sticker to glue wrapping paper and confetti gingerbread cookies. She also used white glue to put tissue paper pieces on this cardboard "tree"
Preparation for Christmas
we did a lot of things to get ready for Christmas this week.... besides shopping, we picked out our Christmas tree
and decorated it
and showed Santa a book
and we made sugar cookies

The whole Tot School idea is great. She is learning so much. Hope you can find a great school when she is ready for K or she will be very bored. Of course....there is always home schooling.
